Mt. Wolf emerged as one of our favourite British bands of the last few years, and one that we'd had the pleasure of backing from the very start. The outfit are currently continuing as a duo, with singer-producer Sebastian 'Bassi' Fox opting to pursue his solo creative juices, having also dabbled in recent times with production for the likes of Roo Panes. Listen to the first official fruits of Bassi Fox's mesmeric labours below.
Fox is clearly wearing his influences on his sleeve with the new material he's unleashed in 2020 - firstly, a percussive remix of Bon Iver's unusually titled '715 - CREEKS', with Fox noting the original track as one of his favourites and that "every Bon Iver album has soundtracked a different stage of my life so far." This has recently been followed by a cinematic cover of 'Everything I Wanted' by Billie Eilish, the first ('Version 1.1') in a series of tracks being re-imagined by Fox from his fave artists. Bring on the next one.
