'Hallelujah' by name, hallelujah by nature - Josephine Vander Gucht and Anthony West (whose projects Jose Vanders and We The Wild both saw love from these pages in the past) have returned with a deliriously good new single. The first offering from their Oh Wonder team-up since 2017's 'Ultralife' album, watch the 'La La Land'-esque video for 'Hallelujah' below.
An upbeat number, 'Hallelujah' starts off in a quiet, string-laden fashion before pulsating beats kick in - and the extensive choreography (arranged by Supple Nam) of single's video kicks off. Filmed in a particularly beautiful Ukrainian location, the Gregory Ohrel video proceeds in a single take (using a crane) following the alt-pop duo and their congregation of dancers. Eye-catching, to say the least. And ear-catching too, if that's a thing.
