Fast gaining a reputation as Queen Of The Collab, thanks to her wide-ranging recent team-ups including a baffling Spice Girls cover with Diplo and Herve Pagez, we were still somewhat surprised that Lizzo wasn't actually the first artist to appear on 'Blame It On Your Love'. Stefflon Don appeared on a brief snippet of the track that leaked last year but as we noted in our recent pop music column, this track in itself is a re-work of the has-to-be-heard-to-be-believed brilliance of 'Track10' from 2017's 'Pop 2'.
The video for 'Blame It On Your Love' captures some of the off-the-wall nature of 'Track10', briefly capturing intimate footage of evolved human-nymph creatures. Basically it's a lot of kissing in pointy ears cosplay. Alongside the new video, Charli's announced a world tour as well as her third official studio album, 'Charli', featuring Haim, Christine And The Queens, and her '1999' collab with Troye Sivan. HYPE.
