Swedish(?) newcomer Winona Oak recently joined the Neon Gold/Atlantic Records family, following an appearance on the brilliant 'NGX: 10 Years Of Neon Gold' compilation earlier this year alongside Charli XCX, Broods and many other heavy hitters of the pop world. Hear her cover of HAIM's ace 2012 single 'Don't Save Me' from the comp below, as well as her 2018 electronic music collabs with What So Not and The Chainsmokers.
Our research suggests she formerly was known as Ewana before stepping into her new guise earlier this year, and the ball is well and truly rolling with Winona Oak, solidified by her latest work in conjunction with The Chainsmokers. The new track, 'Hope', will also help move her away from Lana del Rey comparisons which were abound following her version of 'Don't Save Me'. We're already excited to hear the next evolution of Winona Oak.
