We first uncovered teenage star-in-the-making Maisy Kay back in July, with her Kate Bush-esque debut single 'Blood Filled Tears'. The LA-based English musician quickly followed up with 'Enough', which you can listen to below, alongside new single 'Sleep'.
While I wasn't quite as enamoured with 'Enough' as I was with her opening salvo, 'Sleep' is a fresh burst of energy to the momentum that Maisy Kay is building. With its operatic Latin foundations, few tracks can better fit the "melodramatic pop" tag. Honestly, it's a tad ridiculous. And yet breathtaking.
