Writer Alex Garland's debut directorial feature 'Ex Machina' was recently released in UK cinemas, and now we have the news that the film's soundtrack is set for release on April 10th. Composed by Ben Salisbury and Portishead's Geoff Barrow, the ominous soundtrack helped set the tone for what became an increasingly creepy drama. While the 'Ex Machina' ultimately felt a tad underdone, Garland succeeded in establishing a dark tone as the film progressed - thanks partly to the excellent score. 'Hacking/Cutting' has a touch of soundtrack legend John Carpenter to it, and matches the film's robotic basis.
