August seemed enveloped by a rumbling crisis in Syria and Miley Cyrus dancing. But there was good stuff elsewhere from the quirky US indie comedy of 'The Kings Of Summer' to the beautifully orchestral new Zola Jesus album, August has treated us well. And will continue to do so.
