Scot sibling duo John & Garry popped up on our radar at the end of August, with a couple of excellent tracks, that brought forth memories of Idlewild and Biffy Clyro. Soon after, they went a step further and put together an EP - have a listen below, and download for free/pay what you like.
John & Garry take a foundation of earnest indie rock and add different elements, such as programmed strings, to give the bedroom project a more grandiose feel. And it works rather well. Particularly on previously featured tracks 'Let Me In' and 'Hide Away'. The Kerr brothers even throw in a cover of one of their influences, Bon Iver, for good measure.
