DocHouse, Channel 4 and the Bertha Foundation are proud to be hosting the London premiere of Callum Macrae's feature-length documentary, 'No Fire Zone: The Killing Fields Of Sri Lanka'. We're giving away a couple of tickets to the screening, which is followed by a director Q+A, hosted by newscaster Jon Snow.
Building upon his work in two previous Channel 4 documentaries on the issue, Callum Macrae brings his quest for an independent investigation into potential Sri Lankan war crimes to the big screen. The documentary chronicles the violent efforts of the Sri Lankan government to eliminate rebels at any cost, including civilian life. The film has already proved popular with a well-funded Kickstarter but the government continues to deny any wrongdoing. Something that this documentary hopes to change.
