Words: Saam Das
Before Christopher Burman found relative fame as a member of indie upstarts Spector, he took a break from music to study architecture at University College London. To some extent, he returns to the field with a new brochure entitled 'Vehicle' - a set of photographs and writing inspired by popular car museums in Germany, accompanied by a short CD soundtrack. Listen to 'While You Were Sleeping' below.
'While You Were Sleeping' seemingly has some influence from the ostentatious Woodkid, and perhaps unsurprisingly, considering the nature of the museums Burman features in his publication. Kraftwerk are the other appropriate influence that immediately springs to mind, and we look forward to seeing similarly forward-thinking offerings from Burman in the near future.
