'The Adventures Of Tintin' comes out next week in the UK and despite some reservations that I outlined in our preview of the film, I'm looking forward to its arrival. Especially with this impressive (unofficial) animated titles sequence, featuring elements from each of Hergé's books, which you can watch below.
The film has received mostly positive reviews, although as many suspected, the CGI animation style has born the brunt of the criticism. This titles sequence done by young UK animator James Curran, who opted for a more traditional style of animation for his short titles sequence. A choice that is both evocative of the original source material as well as looking fresh. Real fresh.
'The Adventures Of Tintin' is out in UK cinemas from Monday 24th October, before expanding to wide release on the 26th.
