Thanks to the good folk at the BFI, we have a pair of tickets to give away to see the acclaimed Terrence Malick offering 'Days Of Heaven' at the BFI Southbank in London. The film recently returned to the big screen, as part of the BFI's retrospective on Malick. Enter the competition below.
"In 1916, after trouble at work, Bill (Richard Gere) leaves Chicago for Texas, together with girlfriend Abby (Brooke Adams) and his sister Linda (Linda Manz). Passing as siblings in order to find work, the lovers keep up the pretence when it becomes clear the shy farmer they work for (Sam Shepard) - rumoured to be dying, with no one to inherit his fortune - has fallen for Abby..." You might be more familiar with Malick's recently divisive 'The Tree Of Life' but 'Days Of Heaven' is widely considered a masterpiece - much like the majority of his other films, which you'll also be able to catch at the BFI Southbank this Autumn. Don't fret if you're not in London though, 'Days Of Heaven' is also being screened across the country.
'Days Of Heaven' will be screening at the BFI Southbank until the end of this month - 30th September. We have a pair of tickets to give away to one FG reader and you can enter away below. Please only enter if you can make it down to the Southbank on one of the available dates, as listed on the website.
HOW TO ENTER: To win a pair of tickets to an (available) screening of your choice, simply leave a comment below with your name and email address - please include this in the message field. e.g John Smith, johnsmith(at)gmail.com would be left as a comment.
The competition deadline is Monday 12th September at noon. T&Cs apply, as does our privacy policy. The winner will be contacted via email.
