The eager amongst us may already be at Glastonbury Festival but for those who are yet to head to Somerset then these last minute recommendations for bands to see/things to do might come in handy. You may already have seen my guest blog at BBC 6Music and well, this is a variation on that theme. Hopefully with fewer typos....
In that 6Music Blog, I recommended seeing:

It's a bit of a waste of time to be recommending you see the headliners or some of the other big names like Wu-Tang Clan and Paul Simon. However, the rest of Team FG have written positive reviews about some of the line-up's recent albums so perhaps they're worth exploring: Fleet Foxes (Fri, Other Stage, 19.10), TV On The Radio (Sun, Other Stage, 17.30), Miles Kane (Fri, John Peel, 14.15), Glasvegas (Sat, John Peel, 22.30), Battles (Sat, John Peel, 21.00), and Wild Beasts (Sat, The Park, 23.00).
Also, considering the only reason I'm able to go to this festival is thanks to my involvement in the Emerging Talent Competition, I feel like I should inform you that the winners of that comp - Treetop Flyers are playing the Other Stage on Saturday at 12.20 in the afternoon. But as I'm repeatedly told - Glastonbury isn't just about the music. And neither is FADED GLAMOUR. So let's share some other picks.
The cinema is an obviously related arena of entertainment for us and you could do worse than seeing any of the following offerings: 'Thor' (Thurs), 'Source Code' (Thurs), 'The Social Network' (Fri), 'The King's Speech' (Fri), 'Rango' (Fri), 'Upside Down: The Creation Records Story' (Sat), '127 Hours' (Sat), 'Pirates 4' (Sat), 'Sucker Punch' (Sat), 'Tangled' (Sat), 'The Fighter' (Sun), 'Inception' (Sun), 'Paul' (Sun) or 'Tron Legacy' (Sun).
There's also plenty of impressive comedians on show at the Cabaret Tent but if you enjoy smart, witty comedy then don't overlook Andy Zaltzman who'll be performing at Leftfield at 17.00 on Friday. On an equally/more intellectual level, there's also the Free University of Glastonbury - with Ben Goldacre and Jon Ronson being my recommendations there.
