Thanks to Paramount Pictures, we're giving away a selection of 'True Grit' DVDs, Original Soundtracks (OSTs) and paperback novelisations of the film. The Coen Brothers updated Western comes out on DVD and Blu-Ray today in the UK, and details of how to win the prizes are below.
'True Grit' (starring Jeff Bridges and Matt Damon) had a critically acclaimed theatrical run - including a positive review from our very own Matthew Paskins, one of many to be won over by newcomer Hailee Steinfeld. Arguably, ten Academy Award nominations lends more credence than a review from us though.
Two lucky winners will win 'True Grit' on DVD, as well as its Original Soundtrack and a paperback novelisation. One lucky-but-not-quite-so-lucky runner up will win a copy of 'True Grit' on DVD.
HOW TO ENTER: This will be a Facebook only competition. "Like" our Facebook fanpage and then find the comment on the wall beginning "True Grit Competition:" - which will then ask you to state your favourite Jeff Bridges film in your reply to that comment. UK users only please.
However, if you don't have a Facebook account, then you are permitted to enter via the comments below but please also leave an email address underneath your answer. Competition deadline is Monday 20 June at noon. Winners will be contacted by email or Facebook message. Good luck!
