Last year, following an appearance on the Tough Love 2010 sampler, I said some nice things about Lazy Hurricane. Now, with the appearance of another brilliant Tough Love sampler, you can download a new track of "futuristic calypso pop" for free, 'Heartswordsfire'.
Presumably I was caught on a good day when I originally featured Lazy Hurricane, seeing as I didn't say embittered things about them being anonymous and mysterious. I guess fair play though seeing as six months on, they remain as unknown as previously.
Anyway, 'Heartswordsfire' bounces off the wall in slightly deranged (yet enjoyable) manner, kind of like El Guincho meets Wavves meets 8-bit. Download it below, along with the original track I featured, 'No Fair Isle'.
