I wasn't overly blown away by the new Guillemots track 'Walk By The River' (listen here) but the new Art Brut track excites me a great deal more. That's perhaps because singer Eddie Argos spends the whole song drawing a parallel between professional wrestling and sex.

Sure it's got that shambolic, punky vibe which may not be for everyone but as with the majority of Art Brut's material, 'Unprofessional Wrestling' has a certain witty charm about it. Plus being a casual fan of wrestling ("sports entertainment"), lines like "1,2,3...I'll let you pin me" make me smile, not cringe. It's partly why I love Fight Like Apes so much.

The track strangely isn't actually on the forthcoming album, entitled 'Brilliant Tragic!' out on May 23rd. The album was produced by Black Francis, aka Frank Black of Pixies, continuing his collaborative work following 2009's 'Art Brut vs. Satan'.
