"Chris Black possesses a power that could lead to the destruction of the current regime, and they will stop at nothing to destroy him. The chase is on as Chris runs for his life in this sci-fi thriller set in an alternate and futuristic Los Angeles".
To call 'The Raven' an homage might be generous considering the nods to the likes of 'Alive In Joburg'/'District 9', 'Robocop', 'Minority Report' and 'The Matrix' and with its relative lack of story, some aren't that impressed. I would say enjoy what is effectively a 6 minute special effects demo. And with short films proving to be a calling card for bigger things, we could be seeing a lot more from Ricardo de Montreuil in the not too distant future.
