It seems that New Zealander Thomston is gearing up for his debut album - one that I've been eagerly awaiting since I was somewhat mesmerised by a gentleman grooving to the producer's Great Escape performance. He had the right idea, and Thomston has plenty, as shown on new track 'Rocketfuel'.
The last Thomston track we discussed was the atmospheric 'Expiry Date', which joined Years & Years in pushing a mix of RnB and smooth electronic sounds. 'Rocketfuel' suits those who prefer their music more bombastic, this time more akin to Passion Pit, while playing off sultry vocals with flustered lyrics.
