We stumbled across upcoming Reading solo artist Eddie Prové (Pro-vay, Eddie you should be okay with) a few months ago off the back of the emotive 'Silent Love'. Listen to that track and stroppily-titled yet enrapturing newbie 'Never Cared' below.
There are obvious influences in terms of Sam Smith (vocally) and James Blake (beats-wise and all that) but we'd align Eddie Prové alongside Aussie Hayden Calnin, who's also doing some brilliant heartfelt stuff right now. Our pals at Killing Moon also compared Eddie to OneRepublic, which is similarly apt, and Eddie would do well to aspire to match Ryan Tedder's consistently impressive pop songwriting.
