Ed Cares? CHILDCARE? Who cares? Well, we do actually. CHILDCARE is the new outfit from Ed Cares, who we presume is capitalising on his recent appearance on the somewhat dubious TV dating show 'Take Me Out' by unleashing the debut material from his promising new project. Check out his raw(r) cover of Blondie's 'Hanging On The Telephone', and learn more about the new band below.
The cover was produced by former bandmate Ben Jackson of To Kill A King fame, and there's at least one other former bandmate in Ed's new setup. The other demos we've heard carry elements of everything from baroque pop to bruising industrialism, so it'll be interesting to see which direction CHILDCARE eventually opt for. Enticing stuff.
