If there's one recent band that we've felt that we've supported from pretty much the get go, it has to be London's BASTILLE. We first wrote about Dan Smith's outfit back in December 2010 and have continued to follow up, most recently with July's 'Bad Blood' single. Their latest single is a re-release of the majestic 'Flaws', watch its new video below.
I'm always a bit dubious about re-releases but 'Flaws' is a track worthy of repeated attention - we loved it from the moment we heard it and further cemented our love for its sublime, grandiose pop when 'Flaws' was paired with the similarly impressive 'Icarus' on their double A-side debut single.
The new video clears up the audio a little, while adding a nostalgic theme park-heavy visual journey - shot in New York's Coney Island by Austin Peters, who also helmed the recent HAIM video, 'Forever'. We're still very much onboard and let's all keep supporting BASTILLE. "Let's finish what we started".
